Live Sound & Installation wrote about us in the October issue. A joint initiative of the Dysten company and the People’s Theater in Krakow was reported – the “Sound in the theater” meeting. The event took place on September 14 this year. covered the following topics: sound system in theater and cultural centers.
The “Sound in the Theater” meeting consisted of three parts:
- theater sound system in practice – live presentation of the sound system. The artistic group of the Ludowy’s Theater performed, showing the advantages of the newly installed sound system. On stage they performed, among others: Jan Nosal and Małgorzata Krzysica with the team. Acousticians, artistic directors, sound engineers, theater directors and other guests could listen to how the system works and assess its quality for themselves.
- substantive part, during which he spoke, among others: sound system designer Wojciech Zieliński, discussing the entire investment process from the designer’s perspective
- discussion panel, probably the most important element of the meeting. During the panel, the participants discussed all issues related to the sound system of theaters and cultural centers, from investments to technical issues, prices, features of the sound system, etc.
