Passenger Information Displays for cities in Ukraine

DYSTEN took part in the Ukraine City Trans event on the 30–31 of March 2017 in Kyiv. International Exhibition devoted to the development of municipal transport and city infrastructure was hosted by the NSC “Olimpiyskiy”. DYSTEN presented Passenger Information Display for cities in Ukraine in LED, LCD, TFT technology. Over 500 guests from 30 Ukrainian cities and 13 countries took part in the event.

Mr. Dariusz Baran prepared professional presentation “Advanced passenger information systems & equipment for the Ukrainian public transport – the best experience of Poland”.  Dysten showed the most interesting projects in Poland.

Tablica Informacji pasażerskiej dla miast Gdynia, Gdańsk, Sopot

TRISTAR is a unique project, not only in Poland, because of the area covered by ITS system. System operate in three cities – Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot. Project was realized in years 2011 -2015 for an amout, about 185 million polish złoty, it’s roughtly 46 million euro. Tristar improves traffic in the Tri-City and also makes it easier for passengers to use public transport. DYSTEN Company delivered for public transport management subsystem 70 dynamic passenger information boards. The system provides passengers of Gdynia, Gdansk and Sopot information about actual departure times of public transport vehicles – buses, trolley buses and trams.

Municipal Transport Union of the Upper Silesian Industrial District KZG GOP is the biggest polish urban transport union, consists of 28 municipalities, organizing transport within them and to the neighbouring cities. The Union range of activity the area of 1,8 thousand of square kilometres, inhabited by almost 2 million people. Every day almost a million of passengers use urban transport organized by the Union. DYSTEN deliver to KZK  GOP 72 Passenger Information Displays for cities, produced in LED technology.

The rail network of the Warsaw Commuter Railway (WKD) is located at the south-west side of the Warsaw Metropolitan Area. The rail lines link the area of three districts: the capital city of Warsaw, Pruszków and Grodzisk, including two residential quarters of Warsaw and 6 municipalities. For this Project, DYSTEN delivered hight brigtness TFT passenger information displays for cities to display not only timetable information but also video and animations. Passengers may call for help at any time or to report dangerous situation by using the SOS button.
