Such solutions include urban bicycle rental systems, systems for optimizing and controlling vehicle traffic, street lighting control systems and smart parking lots. These technologies are appearing more and more often in developing cities in Poland and around the world. They mainly use\u00a0cellular communications, various types of sensors, proximity chips and big data analysis.<\/p>\n<h1>Smart Parking<\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The main task of a smart parking lot is to inform the driver where a free parking space is currently located. Sensors installed in parking spaces detect the presence of a vehicle. Data on seat occupancy are transmitted to the transmitter, which transfers them to the headquarters, e.g. the Traffic Control Center. Information is read from the central unit, e.g. by an electronic parking information board or a mobile application. The driver reads the message and parks efficiently in a free parking space.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Do we need smart parking?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">8 minutes &#8211; this is the average time we spend looking for a parking space. Sometimes we find them right away and sometimes we spend even 20 minutes around the same streets waiting for a parking space to become available.*<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">30% of car traffic in the city center are circling drivers looking for a free parking space.*<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The city loses 40% of potential revenues due to unused parking spaces and a leaky toll collection system.*<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">* Data from the Report &#8220;Smart Parking Systems, Sensor and Communications Hardware, Software, Services and Smart City Applications: Global Market Analysis and Forecasts&#8221;. Navigant Research 2015<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">More and more Polish cities are choosing modern smart parking solutions to reduce traffic congestion and make it easier for drivers to navigate crowded streets and parking lots.<\/p>\n<h1>Smart City parking displays<\/h1>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-3381 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/dysten.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/projekt-gliwice-tablica-parkingowa-led-293x300-1.png\" alt=\"Tablice parkingowe LED\" width=\"293\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Parking information boards offer real-time updates on available parking spots, saving drivers time and money by helping them locate open spaces instantly. These boards boost city revenue by filling up parking lots and indirectly contribute to environmental improvements by reducing exhaust emissions through early driver notifications<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/smartcitydisplays.com\/en\/product\/smartcity-led-parking-displays\/\">LED parking displays<\/a> should be placed in a strategic place, i.e. where the driver decides where to park. The appropriate technical parameters of the board and the technology in which it will be made should be selected. For outdoor applications, we offer LED technology, which is characterized by high brightness, readability and energy efficiency. The light sensor installed in the device will automatically adjust the brightness of the displayed content to the intensity of the incident light. The external parking sign is also resistant to weather conditions such as rain or snow, and it is also important to protect it against dust getting inside the sign. In addition to functionality, many cities also value design.
